Wildwoods Campground is located in central Florida on the banks of the beautiful and historic St. John's Rive within the Ocala National Forest. Our location is the perfect place to enjoy outdoor sports and recreation in a natural setting while providing easy access to some of central Florida's more famous destinations.

I-95, 30 mi. W on SR 40 from Exit 268. I-75, Exit Hwy 200, 5 mi. to Hwy 441/27 N, 1 mi. to SR 40 E, 35 mi. E. I-75 exit Hwy 40, then 40 mi.

Cedar Key Museum State ParkCedar Key, Florida 32625The museum contains exhibits that depict its colorful history during that era. Part of the collection has sea shells and Indian artifacts collected by Saint Clair Whitman, the founder of the first museum in Cedar Key. Whitman's house is located at the park and has been restored to reflect life in the 1920s. A short nature trail gives visitors the opportunity to see wildlife and birds, as well as native vegetation. Cedar Key Scrub State ReserveCedar Key, Florida 32625Hikers and off-road bicyclists who want to experience a mosaic of Florida habitats will find it on the miles of trails that wind through the park. Crystal River Archaeological State ParkCrystal River, Florida 34428It is estimated that as many as 7,500 Native Americans may have visited the complex every year. Although primarily an archaeological site, the park sits on the edge of an expansive coastal marsh. Anglers may catch saltwater and freshwater fish. Crystal River Preserve State ParkCrystal River, Florida 34428Visitors can hike or bicycle along nine miles of trails or study the native wildlife and plants on the two-and-a-half mile interpretive trail.
