The Campsites at Fort Wilderness are equipped with 115/220 volt elctrical outlets, a charcoal grill, water, a picnic table and we saw a , waste container is placed about ever 30 yards. In a stardard campground site there was sewage hookup and in the preferred sites there was also cable tv access.
The comfort station was equipped with private showers, an ice dispenser, laundry room and restrooms. They are open 24 hours (except the laundry room).
Situated on more than 700 acres of lush pine and cypress trees, Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is a picturesque haven of natural beauty. Time slows to a pleasant crawl as Guests wander quiet trails and enjoy the rugged charm of log-façade buildings like the Meadow Trading Post and Pioneer Hall. Water canals snake through the cabins, campsites and common areas, adding to the sense of being far from the bustle of modern civilization—as do the roaming ducks, deer and rabbits.
