Dudley Farm Historic State Park is located
4 miles east of Newberry on SR 26.
Park is open Wednesday thru Sunday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM and the Farmstead is open Wednesday thru Sunday 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
Park Activities
Guided Tours
School groups and organizations must make reservations for tours one month in advance. Groups are limited to 40 people. Please call the park office at 352-472-1142 for group tour guidelines and information.
Nature Trails
Picnic area loop trail is a pleasant 15 minute walk that wanders through a hammock with many live oaks and sinkholes.
Picnicking
The picnic area is located on the west side of the parking lot across from the visitor center and is equipped with 6 tables and 3 grills.
Tours
Farm Tours of the farmstead, buildings, work areas, fields, gardens, etc. See people working the lifestyle of the 1800’s – 1920’s.
Amelia Island State ParkJacksonville, Florida 32226Amelia Island State Park is one of the few locations on the east coast that offers horseback riding on the beach and riding tours along the shoreline. Fishermen can surf fish along the shoreline or they can wet their line from the mile-long George Crady Bridge Fishing Pier which spans Nassau Sound. Visitors can also stroll along the beach, look for shells or watch the wildlife. Read more
Big Shoals State ParkWhite Springs, Florida 32096Over 28 miles of wooded trails provide opportunities for hiking, biking, horseback riding and wildlife viewing. Visitors who wish to view the Big Shoals rapids should park at the Big Shoals parking area and hike approximately 1 mile on the Big Shoals hiking trail (Yellow Blaze trail). There is no vehicle access to the Big Shoals or Little Shoals rapids. Read more

Cedar Key Museum State ParkCedar Key, Florida 32625The museum contains exhibits that depict its colorful history during that era. Part of the collection has sea shells and Indian artifacts collected by Saint Clair Whitman, the founder of the first museum in Cedar Key. Whitman's house is located at the park and has been restored to reflect life in the 1920s. A short nature trail gives visitors the opportunity to see wildlife and birds, as well as native vegetation. Cedar Key Scrub State ReserveCedar Key, Florida 32625Hikers and off-road bicyclists who want to experience a mosaic of Florida habitats will find it on the miles of trails that wind through the park. The shallow waters and numerous creeks near the salt marshes are ideal for canoeing and kayaking. Rental canoes and kayaks are available in the city of Cedar Key. Read more
