Constitution Convention Museum
Constitution Convention Museum State Park is a 14 acre park managed by the Florida Department of Enviromental Protection. This park brings to light and maintains the history location of the first Florida State Constitution Convention. Port Saint Joe was picked over Tallahassee to host Florida's first State Constiotution Convention. 56 territorial delegates drafed Florida's first constitution in 1838. Florida was admitted to the Union in 1845 as the 27th state.
Amenities/Features
When visting the park vistors can take a self-guided tour through displays and exhibits of the time. Artifacts from the original settlement in St Joseph.
